We address shortcomings in current waste management systems, enhancing the recycling of complex bioplastics such as PLA and PHA to minimize environmental impacts and maximize sustainability.
Innovating
with chemical recycling
MoeBIOS proposes to implement a new value chain that incorporates advanced sorting, conditioning, and valorizing processes within the existing infrastructure of industrial recycling facilities.
The project targets bioplastics that lack established recycling processes, such as PLA, PHA, PBS, and PEF, with the potential inclusion of PBAT.
The recycling processes aim to reach at least the same quality and functionality as the original materials.
