Paronese Ecocentro visit: insights into circular waste management
A highlight of the meeting was the visit to the Paronese Ecocentro, run by ALIA Servizi Ambientali. This modern facility plays a key role in sorting and managing plastics and bioplastics in Prato. The visit helped partners see how bioplastic waste is handled daily. This firsthand experience is crucial for designing better recycling systems.

Looking ahead: scaling up circular bioeconomy solutions
Now, as MoeBIOS begins its second year, the team plans to grow pilot projects and build stronger partnerships. Their goal is to help Europe reuse bioplastic waste. This will lower pollution and save resources.
