MoeBIOS Shines at the EUBP Talk Series Wrap-Up in Brussels

Brussels, October 16, 2024 — MoeBIOS proudly took the stage at the final event of the EUBP Talk Series on Alternative Feedstock, held in the heart of Europe’s political hub. Miriam Lorenzo Navarro, the project coordinator, represented MoeBIOS at this pivotal event, which showcased cutting-edge discussions on sustainable feedstock innovations.

Organized by European Bioplastics (EUBP), one of MoeBIOS’ key partners, the event marked the conclusion of a series dedicated to exploring alternatives to traditional feedstock in bioplastics. Topics ranged from the use of waste cooking oils and organic waste to the potential of lignin and brewery by-products as pathways to a circular bioeconomy.

“It was an honor to participate in this essential dialogue about the future of bioplastics and sustainable feedstock,” said Navarro. “The MoeBIOS project is deeply committed to advancing efficient recycling value chains for bioplastics and improving waste management across Europe.”
